The owners of Salmon House on the Hill are making some changes that we wanted to share with the community.

  • The Dream

    The current restaurant and corporate space on Folkestone Way hasn’t seen an update in many decades, and we believe it is time to change that.

  • The Plan

    We are in the very early stages of the process, and will be hosting a virtual Preliminary Public Consultation Meeting to connect with community members who have any questions.

  • The Development

    In the meantime, we have provided some of the initial concepts for the location, and welcome any feedback.

This application is being considered under OCP Policy 2.1.5 of the Official Community Plan for commercial sites. Click here for a link to the OCP

Staff are currently reviewing Land Use Contracts (LUCs) and evaluating options under the Local Government Act for early termination in 2022 or replacement zoning for 2024.

Depending on the direction taken by the District, an LUC amendment may be proposed concurrent to the rezoning application.
